During summer, sun rises in Kuwait for long periods of time. Hence, temperature highly increases in June, July and August. The
maximum temperature ranges between 42°C and 46°C. The highest temperature recorded in Kuwait during summer is 50.8°C.
During August and September, thermal lows are, usually, formed over the Arab Peninsula. As a result, "Al-Kus" winds blow and
humidity percentage increases.
During winter, sun rays fall at an oblique angle for short hours, hence, temperatures highly decrease.
The autumn and spring seasons are distinguished by their short periods. Winter rains are irregular and vary from year to year.

Winter
Winter starts on December 6 and ends on February 15.
During Winter, temperatures are low, clouds accumulate and rain falls. Furthermore, a very cold, west northern wind blows.
Spring
Spring starts on February 16 and ends on May 20.
During Spring, the weather is known for being moderate. Some weather fluctuations may occur and rain may fall accompanied by
thunderclouds. Besides, a hot southern wind blows in spring.
Summer
Summer starts on May 21 and ends on November 4.
During Spring, temperatures are high, humidity increases, and dust winds blow.
Autumn
Spring starts on November 5 and ends on December 5.
During Autumn, temperatures are moderate, clouds accumulate and rain falls. The weather is very cold at night.
